This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of all services provided by WebHostNet.in, operated by Web Seasoning.

1. Purpose

This AUP ensures that our services are used responsibly and do not negatively impact other customers, our infrastructure, or the wider Internet community.

2. Prohibited Content

You may NOT host, store, or transmit the following content:

2.1 Illegal Content

  • Content that violates Indian law or international law
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) - Zero tolerance, reported to authorities
  • Content promoting terrorism or violence
  • Stolen or pirated content
  • Counterfeit goods or services

2.2 Harmful Content

  • Malware, viruses, trojans, or malicious code
  • Phishing pages or fraudulent websites
  • Hacking tools intended for malicious use
  • Exploit kits or vulnerability scanners used for attacks

2.3 Abusive Content

  • Harassment, threats, or stalking
  • Hate speech targeting race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics
  • Defamatory content
  • Invasion of privacy

3. Prohibited Activities

3.1 Network Abuse

  • Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
  • Port scanning or network probing
  • IP spoofing or packet manipulation
  • Unauthorized access attempts

3.2 Email Abuse

  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
  • Email bombing or mail fraud
  • Forging email headers
  • Operating open mail relays

3.3 Resource Abuse (Shared Hosting)

  • Cryptocurrency mining
  • Running background processes that consume excessive resources
  • Hosting proxy/VPN services
  • Running game servers
  • BitTorrent or file sharing networks

7. Appeal Process

If you believe your account was wrongly suspended or terminated:

  1. Email appeal@webhostnet.in within 7 days
  2. Provide a detailed explanation
  3. We will review within 5 business days
  4. Our decision on appeal is final
